Bruce Allen has lived and worked in the Indianapolis area since the mid-‘80s, when he joined the pre-IPO management team at The Wholesale Club (now Sam’s Club). After helping take the company public, Bruce elected to scale down his corporate ambitions in favor of working closer to home and spending more time with his family.

He managed key accounts for Wickes Lumber for 6 years prior to joining AXA Advisors, then Equitable, as a financial advisor. After ten years in financial services, Bruce purchased a bakery café business and the franchise rights to the Cincinnati metro market. Queen City Bakeries LLC enjoyed a brief run, but ultimately ceased operations in spring of 2006. Bruce toiled in a management position with Panera Bread until starting Clear Concept Communications late in 2007.

With two degrees in economics and substantial experience in marketing, advertising and sales, Bruce is well-equipped to examine the effectiveness of your print and digital communications. He helps clients understand why they have a website, who they are looking to attract, and how they can differentiate themselves from the competition. By managing content, he helps them get found, noticed and read. Calling on his experience, common sense and communication skills, Bruce will help ensure that your website works as hard as you do.

When he’s not writing, editing, keywording or otherwise upgrading clients’ websites, newsletters and blogs, Bruce plays piano locally, is a respectable cook, keeps a decent garden and an old black dog. His humor blog, Dear Mr. BruAl, is read by dozens of faithful followers. He and his wife Nancy have been married for over 30 years, and have three married children and two grandchildren.
